THIRUKKURAL CLUB

Thirukkural club is a format of an after-school club. The mission of the club is to foster the intrinsic motivation of the students who want to expand their knowledge in தமிழ் through Thirukkural learning. This club will create an opportunity for them to improve their தமிழ் fluency and conversation skills. The current goal is to learn, understand and enjoy discussing 2 to 3 Thirukkurals during each meeting.

EXPECTATIONS/INFORMATION

Online Registration only

  • If signing up for the club, attendance is mandatory for the member who attends school on that day. Club –Coordinator must be notified earlier if they can’t attend the club
  • After 2 unexcused absences or 4 excused absences, the member may be removed from the club
  • Members are expected to follow the Austin Tamil School – Code of conduct in the club
  • If the members do not want to continue at the club, Club-Coordinator must be notified accordingly
  • The first club meets on 9th Sep 2018 from 12noon to 12.30p.m. in Room 102
